Year 6 Orientation Day and Parent Information Night – Transition

Year 6 Orientation Day

Date: Thursday 30 November 2017

Time: 8:45am – 2:40pm

Place: Governor Stirling Senior High School

This day will give Year 6 students an opportunity to experience many of the Learning Areas they will be involved in during their secondary school years, and an opportunity to meet some of the staff members involved.

Students should wear their usual school uniform and enclosed shoes and bring a bag with a water bottle and pen. Students involved in trials for the Netball Program should be prepared to stay behind at the end of the Orientation Day program, for a later pick up.

Parents should drop off/pick up their child at the roundabout on Third Avenue, where staff will be supervising. Parking can be an issue, so parents are encouraged to resist the urge to linger.

We will be providing students with cookies/juice for morning tea, and sandwiches/fruit for lunch. Please notify us of any allergies/dietary needs on 6274 0300 before Friday November 24, 2017.
