The Netball Program was introduced to Governor Stirling Senior High School in 2005. The program is available only to students enrolled in the school. Students are then able to enrol in the school-based Netball Program as a subject from Years 7 to Year 12. The Netball Program involves four contact hours per week consisting of both theory and practical based content, and the chance to experience interstate and overseas travel for competitions.
In Year 11 and 12 the program includes
Year 11 and 12 students complete Certificate 2 in Sport and Recreation.
Interested students must first apply for general admission into the school – Application for Enrolment Part A – and also submit a Netball Program Application Form.
