The Music Program at Governor Stirling Senior High School is designed to encourage students to participate in musical activity as both a recreational and vocational choice. the course is designed around 4 key outcomes – performance, composition, analysis and socio-cultural context. Students attend weekly lessons with instrumental tutors supplied by the School of Instrumental Music.
Students are able to enrol in the Music Program as a full-time subject from Years 7-10 and then then enrol in the Music course in Year 11 & 12. The Music Program is available only to students enrolled in the school.
