Inter-house Swimming Carnival

The school Inter-House Swimming Carnival will be held on Tuesday 23rd February 2021, (Week 4, Term 1) from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at Bilgoman Pool (Lionel Rd, Darlington)

Students will be transported by Midland Bus Company to the carnival at 9:00am and return to school by 3:00pm in time to travel home at the close of school.

The carnival is for COMPETITORS ONLY. All other students will remain at school for a normal school day. Please encourage your student to participate by nominating to be part of this school excursion.

There is a cost of $10 for transport and venue hire for this excursion.

Students need to be reminded of several issues on the day:

• A kiosk will be available at the pool.
• Students need to bring their own drink bottle and not share with others.
• Students need sun protection and clothing as necessary and appropriate. “House Colours” are expected to be worn. School uniform is not expected of students going to the carnival but appropriate swimming clothing is advised.

We hope to see you at the carnival, but if that is not possible, we ask for your support in ensuring your student attends school appropriately prepared for the day.

Please complete and return the attached excursion permission form to the PE Office, with payment, by Friday 19th February.
