Technology & Enterprise

Technology and Enterprise studies is highly practical and encourages students to express themselves and develop skills in decision making and problem solving through a range of different mediums including:

• Textiles work
• Wood work
• Metal work
• Information technology (IT)
• Photography
• Digital imaging

Students are provided with opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical and enterprising way, using a variety of resources.

Activities in this Learning Area involve ‘enterprise’, which is the ability to identify needs and opportunities through a variety of situations and to take action that will be of benefit to society and the individual.
