Approved Specialist AFL Program

Students are selected for the Specialist Football Program from Year 7 to 12.  Students are able to build on their skills & knowledge with training and organised match play.

 

Year 11 and 12 students complete Certificate II in Sport and Recreation. The Specialist Football Program has achieved enormous success in developing rising stars in the AFL and WAFL in cooperation with junior clubs & District Development Squads. New applications for Years 7 – 10 are currently being accepted. Girls and boys interested in the program are encouraged to apply.

Entry requirements

Entry into the Specialist Program is through a selection process. Students apply directly to the school, you can do so through the online form below. Please provide a copy of the student’s most recent school report and Year 5 NAPLAN results along with any other certificates of achievements and a letter of reference from your Year 6 teacher and sporting club.

Students apply the previous year for entry in the following year (Year 6 for entry in Year 7).

Year 5 students may also register their interest to receive information about future places by contacting the school on (08) 6274 0300.

 

All applicants complete a physical trial (stage 1) on Thursday 6 June 2024 at 10:30am-12:30pm (students are to arrive 30 minutes prior to start).
