General enrolments are now open for 2025 Year 7 intake. Please return your application, (available from your primary school’s Front Office or online under the enrolment tab), completed to Governor Stirling SHS, 25 Third Avenue, Woodbridge, WA 6056 by 4pm, Monday 18 November 2024. Any enquiries please call 6274 0300 during school hours.

 

All children of compulsory school age must be enrolled in school and attend every day – this is the law.  All children must attend school up until they are 16 years old. Sixteen and 17 year olds must be enrolled in school or a training organisation, be employed or be in a combination of school/training/employment.

 

Every child from Pre-primary to Year 12 is guaranteed a place at their local public school. Places may be limited at your local school, so we encourage you to apply now.

Year 6 Orientation Day for 2025 Intake

 

Students enrolled to start Year 7 in 2025 will be invited to attend the school’s annual Year 6 Orientation Days (there are two) on Thursday 21 November and Tuesday 26 November 2024. Students will be given the opportunity for the day to experience many of the Learning Areas they will be involved in during their secondary school years, and an opportunity to meet some key staff members as well as their Year 7 Coordinator.

Students are provided with morning tea and lunch.

Further information will be provided to parents/careers post enrolments.

Note: Students need to be enrolled by 12:00pm, Monday 18 November 2024 to attend the Orientation Days.

 

Year 6 Parent Information Night – Transition to Year 7 2025

 

We are pleased to welcome newly enrolled students and their parents to Governor Stirling Senior High School for 2024 intake. We aim to make your child’s transition into secondary schooling as smooth as possible and invite your participation in the following transition event on Wednesday evening, 13 November 2024, 5:30-7:00pm in the Performing Arts Theatre.
